Are you bad at relying on people?

Terrible at it.

I hated being taken care of. Even at an expensive dinner, I'd entertain people as if I were willing to go bankrupt just to keep things equal.

Now I look back and think, “I really could have used someone reaching out a hand then.”

So now I want to become someone who can offer another person the hand the younger me wanted.
