Is a career important?

It is. I've been working since I was fifteen, so maybe I feel that more strongly than most.

But when I came to Japan, I thought: a career is wonderful to have, but it won't keep you warm on a cold night.

You can hug your résumé in bed and it still isn't warm.

Sometimes what I want at the end isn't a title.
