Where is the line between love and attachment?

SCAR 012
Honestly, I don't know.
Q — Where is the line between love and attachment?
Honestly, I don't know. I don't think there is a clean line you can point to. But if I'm the only person feeling satisfied by what I'm doing, I think I need to stop and look at myself. No matter how hard I'm trying, if none of it is reaching the other person, I need to ask, “Who am I actually doing this for?” If the other person truly wants distance, sometimes letting go can be an act of love too. At least I think it can. None of that is easy. In the end, I think I have to keep looking at the actual person in front of me, not just at my idea of love.
Honestly, I don't know.
